Highlanders fullback Paul Williams has joined the All Blacks squad.

His call up comes after Mils Muliaina strained a hamstring in training on Wednesday. Muliaina has not been ruled out of Saturday’s Test by the injury, but Williams will practice with the All Blacks on Thursday as a precaution.

Muliaina’s injury will be monitored by the All Blacks medical staff and his training on Thursday limited to light exercise. No decision on his availability is expected until Friday.
