Aviva Premiership

The Aviva Premiership is the premier rugby competition in England.

There are currently twelve clubs (Exeter Chiefs, Gloucester Rugby, Leeds Carnegie, Bath Rugby, Northampton Saints, Leicester Tigers, Sale Sharks,    Newcastle Falcons, London Irish, Saracens, London Wasps and Harlequins) in the Premiership.

The competition has been played since 1987. The current champions are he Leicester Tigers who defeated Saracens in the 2009-10 final at Twickenham.
