New Zealand is on 10 competition points and leads Argentina by one point in Pool A.

Rennie said Sunday’s game was crucial.
 
“This game is basically a quarterfinal with the winner advancing to the top four play-offs. The Argentina side is strong up front and will provide a stern test to our forward pack.  Our performance against Ireland was a step up from our previous encounter with Tonga and we are looking for further improvements in this match.”
