In recent times the Bledisloe Cup matches have been won bythe host team, the force of the support often carrying the hosts home. This Saturday sees a Bledisloe played on neutral territory in Hong Kong.

Both sides have changes - Mulialina pulling out from The All Blacks and Luke Burgess coming back into The Wallabies. The inclusion of Burgess may well see a more competitive final score. Burgess will keep the New Zealand back row far more occupied than Sam Cordingley. The Australians will need all of his variety to keep All Black captain Richie McCaw at bay.

Saturday's match is without doubt a great initiative by both unions. It is an undertaking that should be admired by all in rugby circles, it is an event that is best summed up by Robbie Deans “Saturday is an historic occasion, and one that the players are excited about, and proud to be a part of”.

As for the result, the All Blacks have been playing tough rugby in the ANZ cup while The Wallabies have been training. The match practice will see The All Blacks home by 10 points. See you in Tokyo for next year's match!
