Sale Sharks has announced that it has concluded the signing of 28 year old Lock Kristian Ormsby on a two year contract.

Sale Sharks CEO James Jennings said, “I am delighted to be able to announce that Kristian will join Sale Sharks in October next season. Kristian is an accomplished Lock who has vast experience in Super 14’s with both the Hurricanes and Chiefs. Kristian has also played with great effect at Blind Side Flanker and Number Eight in his career. I am sure he will be a very valuable addition to our squad next season when our main goals will be to achieve success in the Guinness Premiership and the Heineken Cup.”

Sale Sharks DOR Philippe Saint Andre said, “I am pleased that Kristian has decided to join us and. He is a tough second row player who commands respect on the field. He has been a consistent performer over the last few seasons in Super 14’s and has also represented the NZ Maoris at Churchill Cup level.”
