Statement from Cornish Pirates CEO Rod Coward regarding The Pirates and the ELV's.

 “It is clear we are not progressing sufficiently under the ELVs and being determined to take measures to turn around our present performance and to achieve the results expected and required from our squad the Pirates have recruited Chris Stirling to advise and assist our coaching team.  Chris is currently the Wellington B Coach and is highly regarded by the NZRFU and his peers in New Zealand who have provided excellent references.
 
He will join us when his season ends in two weeks and be with us until Xmas. The southern hemisphere has grasped the challenge of the ELVs with great success and Wellington B are currently unbeaten in the Air New Zealand B Cup as of Saturday last.“
