SAINTS v SCARLETS: EVERYTHING TO PLAY FOR THIS SATURDAY |

With one game left in the group stages of the EDF Energy Cup it is still in the balance as to who will qualify from Pool D, with the key match being at Franklin's Gardens between the Saints and Scarlets.
After this weekend's matches the Saints, Scarlets and Saracens are all in with a chance of reaching the semi-finals. The Scarlets have eight points, Saints five points and Saracens four points and it looks likely that the winner of the game at the Gardens will progress to the next stage of the competition. Saints need to secure a bonus point win while denying the Scarlets anything to guarantee their place at the top of the Pool. The Scarlets, meanwhile, require a win to book their place at the Ricoh Arena in March. So there is everything to play for! |
