A crunch weekend lies ahead for the Asian 5 nations competition.

There are two excellent matches, on Saturday Korea take on Kazakhstan in Seoul in a match that is effectively for 3rd place. Both sides will be competitive. You would expect that the Kazakh's will be smarting after their pounding by Japan last weekend. However the Korean's will be buoyed by their win against the Arabian Gulf.

Korea should have just the edge in home advantage.

The second and "money"' game of the tournament sees both unbeaten teams Hong Kong and Japan slug it out on Sunday in Nigata.

Japan have been outstanding so far in this competition and should win this by at least 30 points, in doing so they will be the innaugral grand slam winners of the Asian 5 nations.

Fixtures:

17.05.2008

Korea v Kazakhstan in Seoul

18.05.2008

Hong Kong v Japan in Nigata
