This weekend will see non-UAE teams with the upper hand in the latest round of Premiership matches all scheduled for this Friday.

Bahrain RFC will host Dubai Hurricanes in Manama with the near unbeatable team from the last two years already having dropped two matches this season and who will again have to make do without its Gulf Sevens players who are in Singapore on International duty. Bahrain will be formidable on home soil and Hurricanes will be reliant on the likes of classy forward Steve Huber to rally a team with their backs against the wall.

Dubai Exiles are in a similar predicament with injuries and sevens commitments leaving the Premiership leaders traveling light to play Doha RFC in the Qatar capital. Doha will know they are in with their best chance to turn over one of the Leagues frontrunners and are very good outfit at home opposed to the sometimes indifferent performers on the road.   Doha will also host their annual Vets tournament this weekend with plenty of rugby action to entertain the expectant enthusiastic crowds that will fill the Doha RFC rugby headquarters.

In Dubai in the other premiership clash Dragons should have too much firepower for Kuwait who make their first visit to Dubai for the season. In Cup play Muscat are at home to neighbors the Dubai Frogs in what should be a close and open encounter.
