A superb (yet controversial) brace of tries and another added by young Welsh superstar James Hook have buried the Scots in front of a record 75,100 crowd at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.

Wales dominated this match in all areas with the Scots having failed to score a try in either of their outings this season and on this showing it will be a while yet.

At the moment Wales have the crucial bounce of the ball going for them and they also have some self belief, when you can bring on one of the best sets of half backs running around in world rugby after 55 minutes you know you are in good shape.

Whilst Scotland were in the game on the scoreboard for significant chunks of the match and will point to a rather average decsion made by the TMO for Williams second try as a crucia moment, they may need to look at their backline play and then compare it to the lesson the French and Welsh have now handed them behind the scrum.

The Scottish forwards are competitive, make no mistake about that, but so are the Welsh, French, Irish, Italians and English. Scotland need a spark they need a number 10 and 12 in the mould of Hook and Henson to take the game and control it, until then they are going to struggle. Another sell out next for Wales at home to Italy, another tough rugged pack, but the Welsh backs again look to have too much. Onwards and upwards with Wales for Warren Gatland and Co.
